John, Thanks, There has to be an easier way than lifting the engine up. However, I have both the IT service manual and the IH Blue Book for the Cub 154 and neither discuss how to take the oil pan off. For most tractors is it apparent and easy, but when I ran into the two bolts I could not get to without taking that brace off, I thought I better be asking more experienced folks before I had engine come down on me or something.
