Cub Cadet 107 Lift Handle?

The lift handle on my Cub Cadet 107 has stuck in the "float" position. The spring-loaded button no longer works, and even if I pry up on the bottom of the handle I cannot force up the tang so it will engage in one of the sprocket holes. How does the handle come apart so I can get in there to see what is happening?
