This tractor was used mainly for cultivating land. People also plowed, mowed, planted, and many other tasks with this tractor. This tractor was built for the small acreage farmers because of its size and cost. The A Farmall had no hydralics, only hand lifts. The super A came along and increased horsepower and added hydraulics in about 1948. Hope this helps. Rock
