Someone correct me, but I believe the 184 units were simply tool bar mounted planters that could be mounted on any tool bar, from one or two row to 16 rows or more, depending on the tractor. The mounting hardware on the older tractors, such as the Cub/Super A/C,H,M, would of course be tractor specific, unlike those with 3-points. These planters were in widespread use (and still are in some areas) before the IH air planters came out.
