I posted last February that my wife's uncle had been killed in a tractor/ loader accident. I went to his sale today. Damned if he didn't have some fantastic equipment for a man 84 years old. A 7610 Ford went for $61,000 a 90 horse Ford with cab went for 27,000 and a Ford with a loader went for $19,000, a 5000 Ford went for $9,000, a little 661 Ford went for $9,000 and a little Ford 9n went for $4600, new cultivator 1 year old for $22,000, a baler for $15,000, all his equipment was stored inside and kept good, traded up to stay contemporary. Seemed kind of sad to me to see his stuff being sold but I guess that had to be. One of his sons will take over the farm. Eric just posted about a loader accident that killed a guy...be careful fellas....Mike in Exeter Ontario
