I'm not talking about those barbed type push on fittings for high pressure applications. They were only used for low pressure and we used a lot of them. Good for 250 lbs of working pressure. The high pressure fittings were in two pieces. The hex hose fitting screwed on the hose and the swivel nut and the center piece that had the flared seat were installed into the hose fitting by screwing another tube fitting into the swivel nut. This locked the 2 pieces together and after installing the swivel nut you removed the fitting that locked them together. Single braided hose good for 2500-3000 psi and double braided good for 5000 psi. Easy to work with. Hal
