price of a 706 gas

My brother has been telling me about his neighbor"s 706 gas that is split, waiting for an engine to be put in. The engine is there, I don"t know what it came out of. Has both a narrow and wide front. I don"t know about the TA. Rear tires are maybe 25%. I live 3 hours from the tractor. How good is the market for these tractors? If it is a decent work tractor, TA functions, worn tires (maybe good for pulling) can a guy sell it quickly for $3000? $4000? I would buy it to assemble it and sell it. Thanks, Tim (Wisconsin)
