Check the tank for floating debris. There is also a screen at the tank outlet to the sediment bowl. Another thing that can be happening is that the vent in the gas cap is plugged and as fuel is being drawn down, a vacuum is being created in the tank which will affect fuel flow. Just loosen the gas cap when it starts to die down and see if that helps.
