These good old RED tractors always seem to run no matter what. I've been ask to bring some antique tractors for show at a Farm Tour. Today I decided to take one of the smallest and one of the largest. Last week I bought a nonrunning cub that I think I can have running in time to take. Today I dug out of the back of the shed a W9 that hadn't seen the light of day in atleast two years. It has been just sitting there waiting it's turn to be restored. When I checked the antifreeze last fall was the last time I had looked at it. Still a 6 volt, I thought I'd see if the battery had anything. Guess what, she started right up. Didn't run long though, gunky gas. Cleaned up the fuel system and the W9 was good to go. Parked it outside, where it has lived most of it's life, suppose to rain tomorrow, maybe I can get some help from Mother Nature cleaning it up. They are both sitting outside, side by side, the smallest and the largest of a 15 year long era, from 1939 to 1954. Looking forward to a fun time, talking to people on this Farm Tour. Anybody else out there getting ready to have some fun with their old tractors ???????????????
