I had a tractor that you could clean out the cap and a day later it was full of moisture again. The tractor had sat five years when I got it, I put it under a shed and left the cap off when not in use for a couple of weeks, had excess condinsation in the crankcase from sitting all those years. I havent had a problem for a long time now, use it pull the cap, need it again in a day put the cap back on, just needs to air the moisture out. Van
