M motor stuck

I put a bunch of tranny fluid in the spark plug hole and let it sit for a week. When I put the tractor in gear it rolled across the floor of my shop and the motor never budged. If the motor was still stuck then the tractor should have locked, it didn"t. I tried several gears and the tractor just rolled back and forth with ease. I engaged the pto and it spun as the tractor rolled. Any ideas about whats wrong?
