Roger46, keeping the tank full will stop the corrosion as you suggested you do in the winter. Also keep moisture out of the fuel by using an alcohol based "deicer" which simply removes water in the fuel. A friend of mine who ran an Allis Dealership for over 40 years tells me to put a quart of automatic transmission fluid in the fuel tank. This will remove moisture and it also lubes the pump. ATF has an affinity for moisture and works well in removing it. ...Mike in Exeter Ontario
