The question was what caused the gear oil to leak out on the brakes. Remove the oil level plug on the left side of the differential. Excess oil in the differential is a common cause of the oil seal leaking. If you have excess, drain and refill to the oil level plug. You may still have to clean up the brake linings and replace the seals. Gene
