My sugestion, for what its worth, is to drill it out to the next size up and re-tap it that size. Install a reducer bushing with a liquid type thread sealant on the outside of threads, and tighten as hard as you dare. then you can use a regular pipe plug, or install a drain valve in it. If Im correct, the original plug is 1/4in. Steve T
