I'm in the middle of putting the engine back together after unseizing it.I would like to get it running before I restore the rest of it.With the carb, distributer, radiater, etc. still off, it would be a lot easier to paint the engine and where the rad. sits.I want to pull the front axle out so don't want to paint underneath right now.Anybody done it this way?I guess I could wrap the engine in plastic when I paint the rest to prevent overspray, but what problems will I have matching up or blending together on the framerails?I am using 2150 paint. Not sure if I will put epoxy on the cast parts, but will have epoxy and maybe hardener on the sheetmetal.
