the best and probably only way to paint red on yellow is to follow these steps. 1- first degrease and clean 2- sand and scuff the whole tractor or parts if it is apart 3- get a good primer sealer(gray is the best for this situation) and shoot a good couple coats on it. or until the yellow isn't bleeding thru 4- select the red you are going to use and shoot it until desired finish is reached. your other option is to have all of the paint removed from the tractor. this is easy if it is apart, you can have everything sand blasted or glass beaded. glass beading gives a smoother finish when done. good luck. you have some work ahead of you.
