Lot of things get changed over the years but I can give you some things to look for if original. 400 and 450 will have 3 gauges in a insterment panel under steering collum.400 will have key switch in panel,450 has a starter button there with key switch down in insterment shrould.400 steering wheel covered on outer ring,450 all plastic covered.400 rear light right side batt. box,450 left.On bottom of clutch pedal 400 has a screw and lock nut to limit travel,450 none there. Theres other things but this may be enough for you to tell.If SMTA the oil and temp gauges are out under hood.You have a early tractor in production run if all # are being seen.54 or 56 if 450.
