Ok here we go , First off get the timming set correctly then scyronize the govener to the card the get the engine to ideal at the lowest rpm that it will idea at and if you are good she should darn near run slow enough to count the fan blade and this is done by get the ideal screw set where it is running smoothe thenstart backen down the curb idel and keep playen with it just a fraction at a time on the screw i do this with a tach and have had them still runnig at 340 rpm after ya get it as smooth as you can at the lowest setting then bring the curb idel back up to 450-475 then shut the tractor off turn the main screw in till it just touches the seat then back out 4 full turns then don't screw with it it is the best your going to get and if that ain' good enough then change your gas.
