I have been working on this one mag for about three days on and off here. Could not get it to fire all new parts. Well I took it apart checked the magnets for being weak replaced the internal rotor. Still no spark. Next I replaced the brand new condenser, Still no spark. So I said the heck with it. Today I started on a new one and it did the same thing.I was using some of the new parts from the other one. So I said Ill bet theres a bad spot in that new coil. Changed that out still no spark. I rechanged the condenser nothing. I am scratching my head so bad now that its probly bleeding along with a lot of swearing and talking to my self and the mag. OK Guess what was buggering that thing up? Can You Guess? The brand new set of points had a bad spot inside there is like nylon bushing in them where it goes onto the peg for the pivot point it has a bad spot and was grounding out on the peg. Never would have thought about that in a hundred years. I guess it just goes to show you that you should always check the little things first. JON BTW I did check all this stuff with electronics and it all showed good but a lot of times things will show good and not be.
