Saw your post about milling your head and firecraters. The shop I talked to thought .030 was a ton, you took a whole 10th off? Never heard of any taking so much. Seems like even the pullers I read about on here max out at like 50 or 60. But the reason I wrote is that I'm ready to order my overhaul kit, and someone has said that I need different size valves? Even with the same head (8043)? Did you have to use different lengthed valves for any reason? Tried to email you but link wouldn't work. Hope you get this. Thanks Sid, Brian P.S. And if you don't mind another Q, does it make any sense that head bolts on one side of block came out fairly easily/normal, and the other side will not budge yet? Some kind of warping?
