Welp this should go under the heading of dumb farmer stories. I changed the oil in my B250 yesterday. The filter came with three rubber rings for various applications, none of which was for the B250. I looked the old rubber ring over and decided to reuse it since the new ones wouldn't work. I guess I got the canister on crooked and tightened it up. I started the tractor and before I could pull the fuel shut off it puked out at least a quart and a half of oil. I was quite disgusted at myself because I am very careful with jobs like that. The Fram number was correct for the B 250 but the three rubber rings weren't even close to the one required. I did get things on correctly and topped it up. I drove it 8 miles today to load some hay on two wagons(13 big rounds( and then 8 miles home. Now I just have 4 tractors to do oil changes on. The M and two H's only because I like to change oil to remove condensation, they probably don't have ten hours since the last oil change, but 11 months...Mike in Exeter Ontario
