Justin, I've never really seen an MV up close but if it's anything like the drop housing on an "A" there will be a bearing cover on the top axle, remove it and there is a large bearing with an outer snap ring to keep it from sliding in and an inner snap ring on the axle itself to keep the bearing from sliding off. Remove these snap rings and the bearing should slide off the shaft, then remove the bolts holding the drop housing to the transmission and it should come off. it might be a little tight to come off the transmission, use a prybar.
