The gear that drives belt pulley gear box is located on transmission input shaft just in front of gear on input shaft that drives constant mesh gear. On some shafts the belt drive gear is just elemanated since thats all it drives and may not be needed. More common to find it elemanated on 300 460 etc. because the utilitys didn't use. IH sold input shafts for 450 560 etc. without pulley drive gear on them also. Have worked on T/A with no pulley drive gear and IH part # on shaft. He probably has gear,just pointing out possibilities. Also even though all boxes will bolt on there's slight differances in housing shapes and operating levers.
