Head gasket sealing?

OK, I have another new head gasket for my SC ordered from Case-IH. Last time I cleaned surfaces good, used copper spray from NAPA and starting at the middle first, torqued her down in increments to a final torque of 80 lb-ft. Still she leaked on the RH side. This time I have checked to be sure the head is flat. Using the best straight edge I have, it looks good to me. What other suggestion might there be to assure success this time?
