Its a 12 volt system now...Thanks for the heads up that there might not be a solenoid! Got a new battery & new cables this fall..(got new rear tires too.. but didn"t get a chance to put those on!) A neighbour suggested a solenoid problem... But it spins.. just doens"t want to engauge... So.. might be something else too... The starter"s at the shop now... So.. hopefully its something easy Used her a couple of days before she stopped starting... I dont know what is worse... not having a tractor to use.. or having a swarm of bees making a hive in the clutch housing... We"d like to keep her in running shape.. and when we can afford to get a newer tractor, we"d like to restore her... Jen
