I recently bought a farmall c. It runs very rich. I replaced points, condensor, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. I installed Champion d-21 plugs to try and make the spark hotter. I cheked the timing (100 or so times) set the points (about 10 times) moved the timing to just about every degree that the tractor would run. cleaned and adjusted the carb float. Took the jet out and put a smaller one. (made it not want to run without the choke pulled out a little). The compression is around 110-120 in all cylinders. I removed the air cleaner assymbly and ran it without one. All this and no sucess no matter what I did if it will run at all it runs rich. Now what? HELP if you can but something to think about. It has a Carter Carburator on it and I cannot find anywhere where a Carter was used on a C.
