Rob, I agree with the other gents, when tightly wound coils and relay contacts and lil springs etc get exposed to vibration n moisture n humidity and temp changes and plain old farm dirt they can just go bonkers. It might not hurt to non abrasively clean/buff/polish/dry all the relay contact points n blow dry n clean her out. One thing that can mess them up in short order is if the tractor is started up with a genny thats not the same polarity as the battery is installed cuz the relays can really chatter n cant decide whether to _____ or light a cigarette.
