I gave $1200 for my 1948 C tractor with mounted 2 bottom plow. I have since put new rubber on the front, a new manifold, muffler, and bought a battery box. I did some rewiring for reliabilty. Runs good, my daughter takes it to the county fair and club shows. The previous owner had the head off, claimed he had a valve job done on it and new pistons, rings bearings. "Built it like a super c". (All I can verify is that it does have a new head gasket as I can see that.)Clutch, brakes and lift ok. Shifts in all the gears. It needs paint and lights, although I have the original rear worklight with red bulb that I found a replacement lens for. Rear tires have excellent tread, but are mismatched (size). Both have some weather cracks. Including my initial cost I have $1400 in it. I would part with it for that. (My daughter wants an Oliver now). I'm in central Indiana. I would be willing to deliver for fuel cost upto 100 miles.
