Hugh, Thanks for the info. To fill in some of the blanks - The tractor is a super C. Jim could not read the letter in the casting code (*2*3*??) and did not know the year of the swather. The SC has the water pump set off to the side of the fan hub. Jim did not think that the crank would have the hole for the pilot bushing. Some of the complications are that I had the cam and crank reground while my old block was up at the machine shop waiting to get boiled out. If the crank will interchange, so far, so good. And, really getting the cart infront of the horse, I bought all the rest of the parts I needed for the rebuild... I'm going to try to find the on-line parts books and see if anything that I've bought will fit. Greg
