OK Hugh, Guess I need to do some more looking before I ask any more. I dont think its done any damage because I can just not depress it all the way and everything works OK other than it still does grind when you try to put it in gear. It only grinds the first gear you put it in then after that it goes in any gear fine without the grind. Maybe it just needs a little adjustment if Im lucky.
