Me too, but that has never mattered for us old dirt farmers. We take what they give us and make do the best we can. I don't begrudge a man for wanting or needing more money, but many companies have been put out of business by strikes. Just look at IH. I have quit following the Reds ball team that I once loved dearly because of the baseball strike of several years ago. They make to much money as it is for playing around. Some of them should have to scratch and dig like I have. You are right about the bottom line, but look at all the folks who work for 10 bucks an hour or less. If they strike they go hungry. If farmers could stike we could change the world, but the bank would foreclose on a man that couldn't pay his bills for the duration of a long strike. I am selling my crops for 50 cent a pound less than I use to and nothing I can do about it but tighten up. I squeak now when I walk so much I can't hear myself think.
