Hi, I have a 1486 and I started it up yesterday and it was around 18°F. I let it warm up for a good 15-20 min. I noticed that the T/A lever didnt want to go all the way forward, almost like it was sticking. Then when I drove it for awhile it would finilly go all the way forward. Also, It seems like it wanted to free wheel going down hill in both pasitions. From what I understand there is some kind of valve the the T/A controls and I was wondering if it was really cold out...like it was, if the T/A will start acting goofy. I have only owned this tractor for a month, so i dont know how it will act in the hotter weather. When i picked it up from the dealer, it was around 30-40 degrees and it would not freewheel, I sure will sleep alot better if I know it is just the cold that is causing it to do that.
