Great forums! I have both a 1926 steel wheel and a 1927 rubber tire 10-20. I am looking for someone to restore both tractors. I need one complete by Labor Day of 2009 for a show in Charles City, Iowa.
One tractor is here is Springfield, Missouri and the other is still in Charles City, IA. Both are my Grandfathers and have sat in the field for almost 50 years. Any place between Charles City, IA and Springfield, MO would be good. Eastern Nebraska or Kansas is fine. I will haul to delivery and pickup.
The steel wheel engine had been rebuilt and parked. Motor is stuck but grease pen numbers written on the values are still visible. Rolls and steers great. Needs fenders, hood and sides. The rubber tire tractor I"m not sure about. Has sheet metal but at least 1 rim is rusted out. Unsure of motor but it was running when parked. Front wheel is currently off but there with the tractor.
Any help or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Dave
