I am not sure what you are asking. On my M"s, the fenders have no spacers. The bottom of the fender mounting bracket has 2 slots for mounting the fender and allowing small amount of lateral adjustment. If you wish to move the fenders outward, an adapter plate (1/2" x 4" x 4 to 6" long) can be fabricated. On one end, 2 clearance holes will have to be drilled to mount the adapter to the axle housing and 2 threaded holes will have to be drilled to mount the frender bracket. You can drill and thread holes at 1" increments to allow more adjustment for fender placement depending on your tread width. I have made these brackets to move the fenders outward because the rear tires are set for 38" row spacing. Since we use one of the "M"s for planting and other farm chores, lights are mounted on top of the fenders. Moving the fenders outward allows easier entry to the seat. I may not show a logical thought process, but I will park the bigger cab tractors and pull a 8 or 9' wheel disc with the "M" at night.

Like most features of our life, few things are all good or all bad, and most such judgments depend on our own perspective or viewpoint. In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live ...
