Hello Gentlemen. We are starting our new 4H project this year,it is 1952 W4 donated by a local farmer. When he told us that we could have it he said the shifter fork was broken and that is all it should need, except for a few little things. We went to drain the rad last night and it only had a few ounces of fluid. We thought that it might have been drained. When we went to drain the engine oil we found the coolant. After speaking to the farmer he told us that the engine had a cracked block in it years ago and he had sealed the block and installed a new sleeve in it and had no problems. The tractor has been sitting for 10 years in the work shop waiting for the trany work. One of the fathers said he has an engine out of a 91 IH combine we can have for it .Does anyone know if the engine will fit without too many changes? Thank you for your help
