Thanks to each of you. I was going to borrow a pressure pump and test the pressure myself. Now I will not. The fellow at the radiator shop estimated as much as $300 to remove and clean the radiator and re-core it. I can buy a new one for just over half that. I think I will just remove it and rod it myself. Worst case is I need to buy a new one. I am wondering whether there is a leak because I do not see fluid when I look in the top of the radiator. It is probably worth filling it with half water and half antifreeze to see what happens - or... just put water in it and drain it after a while if there are no obvious leaks. Any thoughts on this plan??
