The on board system consists of a pump mounted in front of the distributor driven by the gears at the front of the engine, and in turn driving the distributor. Steel lines run to the hydraulic reservoir and control components under the seat. The valving is on the right side of the seat, and can have several stacked valves. Usually two in front for remotes, and one in back for a fast hitch up down control.
