Does it seem to be one particular cyl missing, either intermittently or regularly?? IF SO, try swapping plugs and check for good hot fire to the missing cyl. If conventional dist, parts store should be able to substitute a condenser that'll fit if orig not avail, just take yours in with you; if can't find cap try examining carefully for cracks, checking ALL contact areas (where plug wires and coil wire go in on outside, where rotor arm contacts and spring/carbon top of rotor contact coil wire on inside). Check end of rotor arm for corrosion also. I'm assuming old plugs came out clean, no heavy deposits or oily residue, nothing unusual on new plug(s), and that engine running normally, no overheating etc before missing started.
