Ron: Those links wouldn't come in well enough for me to determine what they might be doing. however I did see the M and the flat bed truck, and can't see the truck being too much grief for the M to pull along in those conditions.
I once talked a guy with a new Dodge diesel 4x4, into pulling me out of a greasy corn field. I had a 30 wheel tractor trailer probably weighing 15 ton empty, (log truck with cherry picker). I broke through the frost as I approached gravel road. I wasn't down more than 3" on any wheel, just too greasy for hard truck tires to get traction. From the gravel road he was able to pull me out, no sweat. I had broke through with full load, and was able to offload all logs so I could reach them from the gravel road, once I got towed out. I was miles from any other vehicle that could have towed me out empty, it took some fast talking to convince him, his Dodge could do it.
The down side, he has been bragging about his Dodge ever since. Almost have to put a corrset around his chest so he can get behind steering wheel of the Dodge.
