Bob, I believe that this truck is from the next series up from yours I think IH did a restyle in '69. I'm hoping that this is a '75 because then it would have electronic ignition. I'm also kind of hoping for one of the Black Diamond 6 cylinder engines that was an option if a buyer deleted the 345 from the order form. The 261 six is in my opinion one of the best engines ever produced anywhere. And with the five speed this truck would do alright with the reduced hp. And I think it would be just plain cool. Even if it is the 345 I think the 5 speed will make a big difference if fuel usage. I'm going to head down saturday and really try to dredge up some answers. I figure if I tinker around it enough the owner will find me. Supposedly the line setting ticked is attached to the back of the glove box, so thats where I'll start.
