Bob; You lost me. Or maybe I'm just confused, as normal... Your mention of jumping 6V off a 12V not being a good idea; is that just the stress on the battery? Else, how is it different than wiring the 12 volt alternator with the diagram you posted? Ummm; of course the cobbler who started that project fried the wires and lights. Could that be what bothers you, bunky? HA! Fred
