Cant start my 48 cub

I was hoping somebody would be able to help with my starting problems.About a week ago the tractor was running good for about an hour then it stalled.I tried to restart it would turn over but would not stay running.I finaly got to run long enogh to get it back in the barn.I decided to put new plugs in it this weekend and it did not help.Now all it does is crank and does not want to turn over.The battery is charged fuel on I just do not get it.Any hep would be greatly apriceated.
