Its not too hard. Helps to have two people to handle the tire and wheel and axle. Usually you can undo the bullgear from the rear axle by removing the PTO and reaching into the transmission through that opening rather than removing the transmission cover. To start remove the wheel and center off the axle, than take off the square cover on the housing holding the seal and bearing. Than just remove the bolt and washer holding the bullgear, it helps to use shims to prop the gear up so it doesnt fall. and than you can pull the axle right out of the housing. To reassemble just reverse the process.
The picture shown is of a 560W axle but the procedure is still the same.
