been covered many times, search in archives (sp) easiest way is to drive pin out that goes thru shifter tower and shift lever, (their may be small soft plugs covering pin) lift shift lever out and look in hole, shift rails will be visible, use large screwdriver to line up out of position rail so all 3 slots are in line put shifter back in in neutral position, push down on shifter to compress spring and slide pin back in place. should be good to go. contributing factors to this happening is wear to end of shift lever ( can be built up with weld and ground/filed to original dimensions and shifting out of gear and moving lever over to quickly allowing shift rail to slide into next gear while shift lever is moved over to another rail. especially when shifting from 4th to reverse it will slide into 5th. did this many times as a14/15 year old while cultivating corn with 2 row equipment 50 years ago hope this makes sence leroy
