I had rebuilt a 53 Super H and when it came to reinstallment of the trottle Linkage we had problems. The trottle will only pull back half way. With the engine running, it sounds like it is really wound tight(for lack of a better term) when the trottle lever is pulled back. I have checked out other H's and Super's and we have everything back in place the way it is supposed to be. I have pulled off the cover on the govennor and the linkage in there seems to be like to others that I have looked at. Could the linkage that goes into the carb not be alligned properly or timed correctly? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Green Convert
