I have a head off of a 123 engine(supposely) and the combustion chambers looked a little deep, about 7/8 inches. The numbers on the head are 251172r2 but my parts book shows a number of 251174r2.Now,question,is the number on my head 251172r2 the correct number for a 123 engine??? I checked on one of my "C"s and the number was 251172r1.Do I have a 123 head or a 113 head??? I know that a 113 will interchange but I thought that 123 had shallower chambers that the 113,I could be wrong but it has been awhile since I looked at a 123 beside a 113 head.I would really like to get a hold of a 135,9 bolt hole head if anyone has one close to N.W.Ar. and cheap enough.
