Pull all spark plugs and squirt motor oil in each cylinder (3-4 pumps) to assure greater compression. Crank a few revolutions to spread the oil around the cylinder and re-build the sealing ability of the piston rings. The spark leaving the coil to distributor wire (distributor cap end) should be bright blue and snappy jumping at least a 1/4" gap. If you haven't changed the timing since last fall, the spark is strong, and the compression is decent, about all that is left is the fuel supply.
