Pressure plates are adjusted out of the box! Unless you have good measuring tools, and the solid evidence that things are wrong, leave the screws alone. Your new friction disc could be put in backwards, it must have the cushion springs in the middle facing away from the flywheel. If they are forward, the springs and hub interfere with the bolts on the FW. and the clutch fingers are too far depressed and it will not adjust. A bent friction disk (from even modest force being used to put the tractor back together can also cause drag. A improper Throwout bearing is also a suspect. If the fingers are depressed more than about flat to the disk, I suspect the plate is in backwards. Best of luck. Jim
