I've been doing a bit of reading on the WHS site about the IH paint committee decisions. I'd like to know what would be an acceptable IH green for a thresher. Is there a difference between the green on the impliments & tractors? I see on the paint chart, there is an IH engine green. Would that get used on the tractors, hit-n-miss engines or is it green diamond engine green?
There was something that needed IH red enamel varnish. I can't remember what. What should I use for red varnish? Can't say as I've seen red varnish before.
The other color I'm wondering about is blue. What's the difference between blue varnish enamel, blue steel laquer, blue synthetic laquer & No. 602 Harvester blue paint? Are there contemporary matches to these paints as well?
Hopefully, some of you guys have had luck with finding the right paints & varnishes to match the afforementioned colors. I would like to hear what has worked, so far, for everyone here.
