Most tractors emit some smoke from the breather. It sounds like either blow-by or possably a cracked head gasket, chances are it's blow-by, caused by normal wear, piston rings ain't sealing as good as they should. Does it smell like exhaust or burnt oil? Possably could be a real bad valve guide, but chances are you would hear that clattering away. A bad head gasket would have to be bad into the oil cavaties and would usually cause enuf pressure to blow out a main seal or valve cover gasket. Good Luck! Hope this helps out.
